Family

One of the things I love about Grace is our commitment to get along and love each other. Whether it's worship, where we emphasize celebrating the Gospel together above our own musical styles, or getting together for family time at the 4th of July Picnic where everyone pitches in, or in our Growth Groups where all ages come together in a small group setting, at Grace we are a family. I think this is especially important for you who are college aged. Where else do you get to hang out with people your own age and the young and old alike?

July 24-26, 6-8pm each night, is our annual Grace Family Conference. This is another great opportunity for us at The Source to connect with the whole church family. Pastor Dan Haakenson from Valley Evangelical Free Church will be addressing "Keys to Communication: Practicing the Principles of the Proverbs" this year. If the idea that this is a Family Conference scares you away, let the topic scare you back! All of us need to communicate with all kinds of people. There's even some break out seminars that might of interest to some of you (e.g., Pastor Tim is doing one on family devotions--never too early to think about this! one of our finance trustees is leading one on financial principles and more!). You can even come at 7:00pm just to hear Dan if you want.

Don't miss this excellent opportunity to join in with the rest of the church family. If you're going to attend, you need to register by this Sunday, so come prepared!

I really wanted to go to this, but I will be recovering from having all four of my wisdom teeth removed on Friday.

Can these sessions be taped? Podcast?

Sounds like it will be a great conference. I've got the same question as Phillip. Can the seminars be put on the website like Pastor Tim's sermons? I'm thinking the only reason they might not be is because this is something that people have to pay for.

Have a great time!

The availablity depends on who is speaking. Some years we have been able to record and others we have not been so fortunate. Check with Dori Iunker - this is her baby!
